Benedetta, founded in 1996, is a 100% botanical, Farm-Sourced™, skin care company. Each holistic formula is made in small batches with a focus on Certified Organic and Biodynamic™ ingredients, many California grown. The skin recognizes these vibrant and fresh ingredients, and is fed their viable nutrients, much like receiving better nourishment from eating organic and alive foods.

As a result, Benedetta preparations feed your skin, and have shown to CORRECT, PROTECT, and REJUVENATE with continued success.

Since Benedetta's inception in 1996 we've been committed to growing a conscientious business. Recyclable glass packaging, recycled shipping materials, non-toxic natural cleaners in production, and our minimalist business practices, have insured our ethical and practical support of the environment. Our products have never been and never will be tested on animals.

Benedetta was created first to honor each of its customers with authentic vibrant preparations by using 100% botanical ingredients, the majority being Organic and Biodynamic™.

Why I Founded Benedetta

It might sound cliche, but I became a formulator out of an intrinsic need for a skin care line that didn't exist, at least in all my searching.

I entered the skin care industry being told by many cosmetic chemists that I couldn't achieve what I wanted in a formula without petro-chemicals and additives, including preservatives. They were wrong!

My goal has always been to create formulas that worked in unison with the body's ability to heal and rejuvenate. This holistic approach to skin care is the cornerstone to each Benedetta preparation, some taking several years to perfect.

It was always obvious that each ingredient had to be as fresh as the next. The closest to nature, meant to me that it had to have a strong energetic profile. Today the majority of my Certified Organic and Biodynamic™ ingredients come from small family owned farms globally, and local to California as well.

I have coined the term Farm-Sourced™ to describe our ingredients and our business ethic in a sea of bastardized terms from"Natural" to "Organic" The formula must work first, by addressing the skin's health. Once a product is perfected to work for a particular skin condition, only then is there due diligence in sourcing the ingredients to be vitally sound, as well as Biodynamic™ and Organic.

In other words: The trend and market for Organic lines has created a sea of companies that are more concerned with Certified Organic status, than an authentic and effective skin care preparation. The focus is first to acquire a preponderance of Certified Organic ingredients, to be compliant with the 95% requirement for Certified Organic status, mandated by the USDA, instead of formula efficacy first.

My commitment to the botanical plant world has always been without compromise since creating my first product, Crystal Radiance Neroli, distributed in 1987.

Holistic means to treat the whole person, incorporating body, mind and spirit. Benedetta Holistic Skin Care is authentically developed by first viewing the skin as an integral part of our human cooperative ecosystem. The skin is our visible sign of health and as the largest organ is dependent on many body functions for optimal vitality. To assist the cells, tissues, organs and body systems to function optimally, Benedetta chooses Organic and Biodynamic™ botanicals that work in harmony with our skin's ability to rejuvenate and heal. Our natural ecosystem has provided everything we need to thrive. It is this simple philosophy and truth that has made Benedetta unique.

We believe the best line of defense is a Holistic Preventative Approach, which encourages the body to heal itself.

Taking Care of Yourself: Beauty is not skin deep. Only by maintaining good health can your skin function properly.

Sustainable Sources: From Seed To Bottle

Our vibrant preparations are made with botanical ingredients purchased from our global community of farmers all with their own rich heritage and story; from the 10 year old family crop of Bulgarian Roses to our local Northern California Lavender to our Certified Fair Trade Shea Butter. Our products never contain synthetic fragrances, fillers or coloring agents, each Farm-Sourced formula has the rich color and sweet smell with which nature intended. Benedetta skin care is non-comedogenic (won't clog pores) and highly concentrated, a little goes a long, long way!

Ecological Packaging

At Benedetta great care is taken to preserve both our products and our environment with all of our packaging decisions.

The outer packaging of Benedetta products is made from fully recyclable tin material. These tins keep the product clean and allow for more information to be included with the product. They also give Benedetta brand recognition and appeal for our wholesale accounts. Products may be received without the tins by request.

We are honored to use MIRON Violet-Glass for our skin care bottles due to its ability to preserve the bio dynamic qualities of each ingredient in Benedetta preparations from the natural decomposition processes induced by visible light. This pristine preservation translates to vibrant products with the freshest ingredients for our clients.
