Benedetta Daily Routine
Morning:
Massage Rosemary & Geranium Cleanser into dry skin using OMR - open mouth resistance technique. Allow product 1-3 minutes on face to cleanse and tone. If skin is congested, leave on up to 10 minutes. Wash off thoroughly with a soft facecloth and water.
Once face is dry from cleansing, apply Crystal Radiance Hydrating Elixir (2-5 sprays), followed immediately by 2-5 drops of Precious and Nourishing Oil. Apply facial oil using OMR.
Apply "The" Eye Creme using gentle pats to each eye area. Remember, our products are very concentrated and you need only a third of a pump.
If you have heavily congested areas or blemishes, you can apply Control Creme at this time. Finish routine by applying Visibly Radiant Moisturizer.
Evening Routine:
Massage Rosemary & Geranium Cleanser into dry skin using OMR - open mouth resistance technique, as per morning. Once face is dry from cleansing, apply Crystal Radiance Hydrating Elixir (2-5 sprays).
Remember that you are now allowing your skin to detoxify for the night and facial oil and moisturizer are not needed.
If you would like to spot treat congested, problematic areas of your face; embedded blemishes such as milia, you can massage in a very small amount of Rosemary & Geranium Cleanser to the affected area.
Weekly Routine:
At least once a week after cleansing your skin you should apply the Seaweed Mask for 20-45 minutes. The seaweed mask can be applied over the entire face and neck, including eyelids and below the eyes. If desired, for a spa like indulgence, you can apply the Rosemary & Geranium Cleanser before applying the mask. The mask is especially effective when body temperature is increased, therefore applying before taking a hot bath such as our life changing Seaweed Bath is a great idea, please ensure to drink plenty of water. When removing the mask, wet the face entirely to soften for ease in removal.
Open Mouth Resistance Technique (OMR):
OMR Technique is used to inhibit over stretching and pulling of the skin. This simple yet effective procedure should be practiced whenever applying product below the eyebrows. Open mouth to a comfortable position while pressing lips over teeth. The wider the mouth is opened the more resistance will be felt. Do not over do this or open to a point of discomfort. Massage should be done using firm, continuous pressure.
Massage-In Technique:
The Massage-In Technique incorporates the OMR and Massage. Each step can be done several times to achieve proper circulation. Make sure face is well lubricated with product before following these steps. Please read through all the steps before starting. IMPORTANT - if you are feeling any pain, discomfort or suffer from T.M.J discontinue procedure and seek the advice of your physician or dentist.
1) Start at top of forehead using a circular direction from hairline down and out to temples. Massage temples several times.
2) Circle between eyes and continue down the nose on each side using index and middle fingers.
3) Move up towards inside lower edge of eyebrow pressing consistently along the bony ridge above the eye socket. End at the outside corners of the eyes or 1/2 way around the eye.
4) Place index finger with middle finger resting on top, along the bony ridge under the eyes starting in the inside corner. Press using an up and down movement (not a dragging one), to the end, outside corner of the eye as in previous step. REMINDER: OMR Technique should be done throughout each procedure.
5) Come back to sides of nose and continue across top of cheekbones to top of jawbone (under earlobe). Repeat, lowering fingers to side of cheekbones and press out to same position.
6) Come back to bottom sides of nostrils and press firmly down nasal labial folds, otherwise known as laugh lines. Now circle several times around mouth in a clockwise direction, this exfoliates and deals with fine lines. For extra resistance and effectiveness, close mouth slightly while continuing the OMR Technique, leaving a small opening. Now open wider and close to feel resistance. Proceed with pressure down laugh lines and circling as mentioned above.
7) Massage chin area with fingers circling in both directions until the entire chin area is stimulated.
8) Press along the jaw line from the center of the chin to the bottom of the earlobes. Return to chin and work the underside of the jaw line.
9) With entire hand, sweep under chin and jaw in an upward fashion.
10) Proceed up the center of the neck and down the sides with full sweeping strokes. Repeat several times.
11) Massage across clavicle, above breastbone.
12) Massage the back of the neck using strong but comfortable pressure.
13) End with a squeeze of the lateral muscles at the base of the neck (where most of us hold tension), and sweep out to the shoulders.
