Benedetta, founded in 1996, is a 100% botanical, Farm-Sourced™ skin care company. Each holistic formula is made in small batches with a focus on certified Organic and Biodynamic™ ingredients, many California grown. The skin recognizes these vibrant and fresh ingredients, and is fed their viable nutrients, much like receiving better nourishment from eating organic and alive foods. As a result, Benedetta preparations feed your skin, and have shown to CORRECT, PROTECT, and REJUVENATE with continued success.


Sensitive Skin

More than 60% of the population suffers from some sort of skin sensitivity. Each disorder is individual with many deeper, systemic issues responsible, topical treatments are only part of the solution. It is no longer the acne sufferer that complains of sensitive skin. Contact dermatitis such as eczema, seborrhea dermatitis, psoriasis, and rosacea are among the common complaints. Benedetta has received praise for many of the above mentioned disorders. That said, no two people are alike and anyone that has faced some of these challenges will agree, what works for one doesn't necessarily work for another.

The Artemisia line was originally formulated primarily for the hyper-sensitive, rash proned individuals, with propensity to redness. The Benedetta 3 part Artemisia Arborescens line [Creme Cleanser, Crystal Radiance Elixir, Precious & Nourishing Facial Oil] was created to calm and soothe, with the ability to cleanse, hydrate, rejuvenate and balance. Although created for sensitive skin we have found it's effectiveness for most all skin types as a soothing adjunct to the Benedetta Facial Regimen [see below].


Teen Skin

Benedetta's preparations can be shared with your teens early on, teaching them good habits from the start.
1. Creme Cleanser Rosemary & Geranium [or Creme Cleanser Artemisia - see below sensitive] applied at first signs of congestion and breakouts may work wonders to correct the problem before it advances.
2. Control Creme is our best seller for teen skin for excess oil and minor breakouts. It won't dry out the skin or cause further imbalance by trading one skin disorder for another.
3. Crystal Radiance Hydrating Elixir - Neroli is all that is needed usually for young skin, to soothe and give some added balance, during the day after cleansing and alone at night while sleeping.
4. Seaweed Mask used occasionally is easy and effective. Can be made in small amounts to spot on as well.
5. "The Best Deodorant"™" kids are starting to have an odor as young as 11. So it's important to use preparations without toxic chemicals including but not limited to: aluminum, propylene glycol, or parabens. Benedetta's "The Best Deodorant"™ is 100% botanical with every ingredient Certified Organic, and it WORKS!

Benedetta skin care offers formulas that will assist your skins best behavior while preventing long-term damage caused daily by our environment.


The Benedetta Facial Regimen for healthy glowing skin

Simplicity is key: the foundation to Benedetta's skin care regimen is the Rosemary & Geranium Creme Cleanser. The Creme Cleanser was developed to move the blood and lymph building circulation as it purifies, tones, and exfoliates your skin. There is no need for a toner as this cleanser will be complete without the need of a secondary product. It may also be used as a spot treatment for blemishes not quite surfaced, or white hardened milia that stay for months.

Crystal Radiance Elixirs are complete nourishing preparations that aid balance before use of Precious & Nourishing Facial Oils and Visibly Radiant Moisturizers. These Elixirs harmonize the skin at night without need of night cremes. This is fundamental for regulating the skin's delicate balance while we sleep.

Some of the repair preparations like Seaweed Mask and Seaweed Bath are invaluable to treat and luxuriate while rejuvenating your skin. They can be taken as often as one has time. It is always worth it! Most of us will do these treatments for special occasions, but the more often you do (even once a week) you WILL see a health and beauty shift.

"The" Eye Creme was developed many years after launching Benedetta in 1996. It had to be perfect using no pharmaceuticals but keeping aligned with Benedetta's ethic, had to be purely botanical. Finally finding the right botanicals, "The" Eye Creme was formulated. This exquisite treatment has 3 extracts two of which take 2 months to cure and are made in-house. This highly penetrative non-oily Eye Creme has nutrients that will aid proper functioning of the delicate eye area, addressing concerns of wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness. With more than 99% certified organic ingredients, there is no purer, healthier or effective product than Benedetta's "The" Eye Creme.


Benedetta Daily Routine
Morning:
Massage Rosemary & Geranium Creme Cleanser into dry skin using OMR - open mouth resistance technique. Leave product on face 1-3 minutes to cleanse and tone. If skin is congested, leave on up to 10 minutes. Wash off thoroughly with a soft facecloth and water.

Once face is dry from cleansing, apply Crystal Radiance Hydrating Elixir (2-5 sprays), followed immediately by 2-5 drops of Precious and Nourishing Oil. Apply facial oil using OMR.

Apply "The" Eye Creme using gentle pats to each eye area. Remember, our products are very concentrated and you need only a third of a pump.

If you have heavily congested areas or blemishes, you can apply Control Creme at this time. Finish routine by applying Visibly Radiant Moisturizer.



Evening:
Massage Rosemary & Geranium Cleanser into dry skin using OMR - open mouth resistance technique, as per morning. Once face is dry from cleansing, apply Crystal Radiance Hydrating Elixir (2-5 sprays).

Remember that you are now allowing your skin to detoxify for the night and facial oil and moisturizer are not needed. If you would like to spot treat congested, problematic areas of your face, embedded blemishes such as milia, you can massage in a very small amount of Rosemary & Geranium Cleanser to the affected area.

Benedetta weekly routine:
At least once a week after cleansing your skin you should apply the Seaweed Mask for 20-45 minutes. The Seaweed Mask can be applied over the entire face and neck, including eyelids and below the eyes.


2. Seaweed Mask - apply directly over R&G Cleanser
3. Life-changing Seaweed Bath - fill bath tub with HOT water while adding bath contents.

Frequently Asked Questions [FAQ's]

How do I apply the cleanser?

Apply cleanser to DRY skin and massage in well using the OMR - open mouth resistance technique. You can then rinse it off with a warm facecloth or leave on for 20-30 minutes for a more intensive treatment and then rinse with a warm facecloth.

When I shake my bottle of Hydrating Elixir before I go to use it, as directed, I hear a rattling sound. Is it a broken pump?

In every bottle of our Crystal Radiance Hydrating Elixir there is a small and beautiful green Adventurine gem. When you shake the bottle you can hear this gem moving inside the Miron glass bottle.

I am having a problem getting the facial oil to absorb in. Am I doing something wrong?

The Facial Oils should always be applied after spraying with a Crystal Radiance Hydrating Elixir. You will use less oil and it will absorb in and aid spreadability creating a moisture and hydration barrier.

What is the shelf life of Benedetta products?

Unopened the products have a shelf life of at least three years. Once the products are opened they should be used in about six months, but this varies with product to product. Our cleanser and moisturizers are best if they are used by six months, whereas some products such as the facial oils will last longer than that.

I have noticed after using "The" Eye Creme that I have a yellow tinge around my eyes, and I was wondering if this is normal?

This probably indicates that you applied too much of "The" Eye Creme. This product is so concentrated that you only need one tiny drop for both eyes.

I was wondering why some of the Benedetta products smell and seem a little bit different from time to time?

Because ours is a natural botanical line handcrafted from Farm-Sourcedâ„¢ organic ingredients, you can expect slight variations in some products. This is a normal result of fluctuations in factors such as crops and climate -- and part of the natural beauty of our products!

A little Benedetta history...Our Neroli Crystal Radiance Hydrating Elixir was the first preparation produced by Julia Faller, Benedetta's founder, back in 1986. It was initially made as a nighttime treatment to nourish and allow the skin to breathe at night while sleeping. It soon became a favorite daytime treatment under the intensive oils and moisturizers.
