Take
Care of Yourself
Beauty is not
skin deep. Only by maintaining good health, can your skin function
properly.
In Oriental
medicine, it is believed that all organs of the body need to work
in harmony with one another. When one malfunctions, others suffer,
creating a kind of domino's effect. As the body's largest organ,
the skin becomes a visible indicator of disorders i.e.., oiliness,
blemishes, dryness, premature aging etc. Thus the best line of defense
is through a Holistic Preventative approach.
Holistic means
to treat the whole person, incorporating body, mind, and spirit.
Preventative means to keep the whole person at peak performance
through nutrition, exercise, and stress reduction. We believe these
to be the best approach to health care as they encourage the body
to heal itself. The recommendations in this brochure are by no means
a substitute for advice from a qualified health care practitioner.
Before starting a new health regime or exercise program, consult
your doctor, especially one who practices holistic and preventative
care.
